Tellyes signed a MOU of strategic cooperation on R&D of VR medical training products with Immersion Corporation, on Nov 6th, 2008. Mr. Lin Lijun, vice director of the Health Bureau of Tianjin, and Ms. Liu Li, deputy director of the Administrative Commission of Tianjin Hi-tech Zone attended the ceremony. Mr. Clent Richardson, president and CEO of Immersion Corporation and Mr. Liu Xiaofei, president and General Manager of Tellyes Scientific Co,. Ltd., on behalf of the two parties, signed the MOU. The event symbolizes that Tellyes towards the international high-end of medical education.

Combined Tellyes advantages of technique and technology with Immersion’s haptics technology, the two companies will develop the VR Medical training system together. In the future, Immersion Medical will send experts abroad in the field of software, hardware and medicine to China. They will cooperate with Tellyes R&D staff to develop the medical training system based on force feedback technology. Moreover, focusing on the current situation of medical education and the training requirements of clinicians in China, Immersion Medical will invest increasing capital and technology to develop products to meet local market demands.
